A BOLD VISION

East London Waterworks Park is an idea conceived by local people. At its heart is a community group that wants to acquire and transform the 5.68-hectare ex-Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road in Waltham Forest into a brownfield rainforest offering people the opportunity to immerse themselves in nature.

OUR BUSINESS PLAN

We recognise that such an ambitious idea needs solid foundations. On 2 February 2023 we published the second iteration of our business plan. This document outlines our operational plans for the site, how we are mitigating risks and more. It is publicly available and we welcome your feedback.

RUN BY VOLUNTEERS

Our campaign is open and inclusive, and we welcome everyone who would like to get involved to join us at our next meeting. To request joining details, please use the Contact Us page and include a brief description of your interest in the project.

JOIN OUR COMMUNITY

Since plans were announced to build a secure facility for children on the plot of land we want to transform into our community-owned park, we have sprung into action to defend our dream! Sign up for our newsletter to receive the latest updates and take action to save East London Waterworks Park.
